How RunVember Works

RunVEMBER started from one man and his trainers and the ambition, drive, determination to make a difference to the lives of the rough sleepers/homeless people in Swindon during the winter months, by providing some much needed supplies.

To take part all that’s required of you is to pledge a minimum distance that you will RUN/SWIM/BIKE/WALK each day throughout RunVEMBER (November). That distance can be anything from 1 mile to 50 miles or any other mad, crazy idea/plan you fancy but must be EVERYDAY.

Entry is simple :

Each participant is given their own official RunVEMBER stamped box and a list of items.

From the list, there are specific items that MUST be in the box, plus other items which can be added if you’re feeling generous. Or, why not take your box to work and get colleagues to help you fill it? Alternatively, you can make a donation of £20 instead of the RunVEMBER box option.

Each entry comes with a running/race number that must be worn every time you are out doing your bit, to help raise awareness for the charity in your area. There is a £3 sign-up fee, which will be divided equally between the charities. You can also donate to the charities via their on their websites, if you wish?

This year, everyone will be given a small box and Christmas card for you to add your very own message. It will be filled with festive chocolates and will help make someone’s Christmas special this winter.

What to do :

1 , Visit the EntryCentral website,
2, Type ‘runvember’ into the search box and choose your location.
3, Decide on whether you are going to run, walk, swim or cycle… then Sign-up for HrH’s RunVEMBER Challenge.
4, Follow the instructions to the payment details… simple!

Your number and box will then be ready to collect?…. posted?

Join the RunVEMBER Strava group to log your activities and follow our Facebook page for details about group runs, themed runs or just to meet up with other participants to run/swim/bike or walk together.
